Using the site

You may browse places and read reviews without an account. To post a review you need a free account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything posted from your account.

Reviews must be your own

• Review only places you have personally visited.
• Give one rating per place; edit it if your opinion changes.
• Do not post advertising, spam, copied text or fake reviews.
• Do not include threats, hate speech, or other people's private information.
• Do not attempt to manipulate ratings or impersonate someone else.

Ratings

Ratings are whole numbers from 1 to 5. A place's average is calculated automatically from the ratings stored in the database. We do not adjust averages by hand.

Moderation

Any logged-in user can report a review. A report does not delete or hide anything by itself: an administrator reviews it and may dismiss it, or remove the review if it breaks these terms. Accounts that repeatedly break the rules may be removed.

Content ownership

You keep ownership of the words you write. By posting a review you allow the site to display it alongside your abbreviated name and rating. You can delete your review at any time, which removes it from the site.

Availability and liability

This is a demonstration project provided as-is. Reviews are opinions of their authors, not statements of fact from the operators of the site. Places, opening hours and prices should always be confirmed directly with the business.
